What we learned from the presidential debate: Golf scores matter! 

       At the recent presidential debate, the two main contestants for this high office got into a very heated argument about their golf scores.  Golf scores?  Now that's something Americans can really relate to.  Yeah, right.  How out of touch with the average American can those two be.

      What are they thinking?  

      That homeless Americans just can't wait to get out on the links every weekend.  Jobless Americans constantly dream about having a better handicap.  Handicapped vets who had their arms and legs blown off in all these useless wars?  Hey, they want a better handicap too!

      And then there's daycare.  Both presidential candidates thought that daycare would solve America's woes.  Don't get me wrong.  I gots nothing against daycare.  Daycare is a wonderful thing.  However. 

       Nothing else actually meaningful was mentioned in that recent debate.  Not ending all those useless and endless wars that are bankrupting us.  Not stopping that bloody genocide in Gaza and the useless and pointless slaughter of 500,000 Ukrainian young men in order to make weapons-manufacturers happy.  Not criminalizing the Federal Reserve for its insane Ponzi schemes.  Not getting rid of AIPAC's foreign-lobby octopus that is strangling our Congress.  Nope.  Daycare is gonna save the day!

       Daycare and golf.  Who knew.
