Money equals Freedom: Why the Epstein Class wants us poor

     Back in 1965, I was happily living on a sandy beach in Mexico, eating fresh-caught blue marlin, reading trash novels, sipping coconut juice and living the life.  "But how could you afford all that," you might ask.  Because I had worked for a temp agency in New York City for six months and saved up.  Can you even imagine being able to do that now?  Hell no.

      Anyway, I got a letter from my college roommate.  "Come back home and we can go to graduate school together and study city planning," she wrote.  What the freak is city planning?  No idea.  But I was bored with the beach and this was something different to do.

      So I worked in the local post office that summer and made enough money to put myself through an entire year of study at the University of California in Berkeley.  Tuition, rent, food and all.  Can you even imagine doing that right now?  Hell no.

     At Cal Berkeley, I jumped right into the Vietnam war protests, the Free Speech Movement, psychedelics, rock and roll, you name it -- all that cool 1960s stuff.  Got out my picket signs.  Got tear-gassed.  And felt free to do all that because I wasn't afraid of losing my summer job or getting thrown out of school.  There was always yet another job available.  No employer could blackmail me into keeping my mouth shut.  And the university wasn't going to throw me out just because I practiced my First Amendment rights.

      Boy are those days surely long gone.  

     You want an education these days?  You want to practice free speech?  You want to keep your job?  Gotta keep your mouth shut.  Only members of the Epstein Class are allowed to do what they want.  Money equals freedom.  Get over yourself.

     Moral of the story?  Let me state the obvious.  "If you are poor, you gotta tow the line.  And who draws the line?  The Epstein Class."  Not you and me.  We can no longer afford to rebel.

PS:  Speaking of jobs, our economy is so bad right now that too many of America's young men have been forced to take shite jobs sitting on vulnerable aircraft carriers, fighting a stupid war in the Middle East that benefits only the Epstein Class.  Risking their lives.  Becoming targets.  Becoming fresh meat.  Why?  Because there is no other way for them to make a living.  

      If our boys belonged to the Epstein Class they wouldn't be forced to make this truly disastrous economic choice.  

      And who else doesn't have any viable economic choices these days?  The child whores of Epstein Island of course.  Do you honestly think that they enjoy being raped (and perhaps eaten) by dirty old men?  Uh, no.

PPS:  Speaking of money, Morocco and Spain are currently fighting over who can install tolls on the Straight of Gibraltar.  Panama Canal tolls have increased 100%.  The Black Sea, the Danube, the Arctic route, etc. could be toast next.  Air travel is under attack too due to the high price of jet fuel.  Gear up, folks.  Your savings as well as your freedoms are under assault.
