[Note from J: The hearing itself was livestreamed on the court Zoom channel. The judge said he ordered the court closed to attendees for “public safety.” The public was invited by CCR to the nearby First Congregational Church of Oakland to view the Zoomed proceedings on a large screen. There was supposed to be a presser following the hearing but there apparently were technical issues, however I believe some of the lawyers, the expert witness, and plaintiffs who were met by a large group of supporters outside the courtroom and then went over to the church and met with those who were there for the viewing. My kudos to all involved. I would appreciate anyone who was actually there for the post-hearing activities emailing me with any corrections or additions.]
