Madam Jane's New Years prediction: "Wealth, poverty & War in 2024"

     Way back in 1976, Madam Jane told me that I wouldn't die until the year 2028.  "And now you only have 1,032 days left," she said -- but I've been philosophical about this ever since and have used it to my advantage.

     "Life is a job," I've often reminded myself after receiving that news.  "You work hard at your one major important task in life (trying to follow the Golden Rule) -- and then when you're finished working, you clock out, go up to Heaven, sit in your Barca-Lounger and watch TV, all proud of yourself.  Job well done."  

 

      But if they need me to stay on the job any longer than 2028, then they gotta pay me overtime.  A winning lottery ticket would be nice.  And in the meantime, my super-advantage here is that I'm never afraid of anything because I never have to worry about dying.

      Are you also curious to know what your own personal sell-by date is
so that you too can be fearless?  Just ask Madam Jane -- and cross her palm with silver of course.  But I digress.

      "So, Madam Jane, what do you see in your crystal ball for the upcoming year?" I asked.

       "You do not even want to know," M.J. replied.  But then she told me anyway.  "Our current economy is hanging on by a thread and the only thing that keeps it going right now is that the Federal Re$erve keeps pumping counterfeit money into the stock market -- and into endless wars.  So.  People need to either start buying stock in Boeing and Glock or else be prepared to lose their shirts.  And their jobs.  And their homes.  And their dinnertime too."

      "But what about me," I asked next.  "Will I personally be better off in 2024, or will I be homeless or will things just stay the same?"  Madam Jane shrugged.

     "There will be great inequality in 2024, even greater than there is now, but I can't say whether you will join the ranks of the elite or the ranks of the peasants.  My best guess is that you'll end up living in a tent and working for peanuts like the rest of us."  In other words, I'm gonna be screwed?  "Pretty much."

     "Is there any way we can avoid this fate?"

      "Of course there is.  Demand accountability, honesty and ethical behavior from our government and the military-industrial complex.  Tell the Federal Re$erve to stop printing Monopoly money.  Stop funding wars.  Stop censoring the news.  Throw your corrupt leaders in jail."  And then Madam Jane just sighed and looked sad.  "But why do you even ask.  We both know that's never going to happen."  Unless the rest of America becomes fearless too and gets a "retirement" date from Madam Jane!

PS:  People in Gaza no longer need to have Madam Jane predict their future.  They already know what Biden and Bibi have in store for them.  Genocide.  Brutal murder.  Cold-blooded holocaust and annihilation -- unless Americans stand up and do something about that too.  But so far they have just looked the other way as 900,000 children face immediate starvation in Gaza before the New Year.

     I myself predict that there will be no Barca-Lounger waiting in heaven for Holocaust Bibi and Genocide Joe -- or for any of the millions of the Americans who went along with their evil plans and did nothing about this immoral tragedy either.
