A Gaza banner that I just saw in Sarajevo...
I'm in Bosnia this week and just finished watching a video depicting the horrors and terrors of the 1990s siege of Sarajevo. If you ignore the video's time stamp, you might think that you were watching a film depicting the horrors and terrors of the current siege of Gaza, live-streaming right now.
It's been 30 years since the siege of Sarajevo happened -- and yet most Americans still have learned nothing about the absolute perils of believing everything they see on TV. And Americans they still trust and believe all the latest propaganda storms telling us that endless war is a good thing, especially regarding the cruel siege of Gaza. When will we ever learn that violently blowing innocent women and children to pieces is both immoral and the ultimate war crime?
The people of Sarajevo, however, are in the unfortunate position to be able make an easy connection between their horrendous siege 30 years ago and the horrendous siege of Gaza right now. I just saw a banner on a bridge here that says, "Don't let anyone tell you it started on October 7." And then the banner lists at least 23 massacres of Palestinians by Zionists since 1937.
Ironically this bridge in Sarajevo is only a hop, skip and jump away from the bridge where Arch Duke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated -- the three gunshots that started World War I. Be careful what you wish for. "War is a mad dog that does not come back when called."
PS: Speaking of mad dogs and deja vu, this November we only get to vote for the Trump-Harris ticket. Lucky us. There will be no other real choices on the ballot. Vote for Puppet A or Puppet B. Or else you could surprise the military-industrial complex and vote for Jill Stein. That would be nice.
PPS: I just had to laugh when our Kamala dramatically recited her famous "I am speaking" line in response to anti-genocide protests. And then she dramatically paused and looked presidential. I wonder how long her handlers made her rehearse that scene beforehand. As a member of SAG-AFTRA, I gotta applaud good acting when I see it. Good job.
PPPS: At the rate that they are declaring war on almost everybody, Zionists are gonna run out of soldiers sooner rather than later -- unless they hire soul-less mercenaries from the scum of the earth and/or send our American boys to their deaths in order to keep AIPAC happy.
The Zionists are using up their current supply of soldiers at a dangerous rate. Just consider how many of them are constantly needed to keep 10,000-plus Palestinian prisoners properly starved, tortured and raped. Then there are the thousands of soldiers that have been killed or wounded in Gaza and the Golan. Hamas and Hezbollah don't play. And what about the large number of soldiers needed to terrorize kids in the West Bank and storm Al Aqua mosque every once in a while?
And clearly those bad-ass Zionist settlers are not going to step up to the plate. They are bullies who only pick on victims who can't fight back. No help from them either. I tell ya. It's hard work being the only fascist "democracy" in the Middle East.
