America's Middle East folly: 7 decades & 7 trillion dollars later...

 Apologia:  Yes, I know there are already tons and tons of excellent articles out there regarding the most recent bloody massacre in Gaza.  Yes, I know that I've written approximate 500 articles on genocide in Palestine already.  "So maybe you should write about something else for a change," said my editor.  Nope.  Couldn't live with myself if I was just another "Good German" hack reporter only in it for the money.
 
      "But even taking all that into consideration," continued my editor, "this is definitely not your best work."  Okay already.  So I ate too much pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving and ended up in Modesto.  Give me a break. 
 
      "The pumpkin pie defense is not enough," my editor replied.  "If you want to salvage this article, give it a little more context."  Screw that.  If anyone who reads this doesn't already know that an illegal Zionist-sponsored fascistic genocide has been going on in Palestine for the past 75 years or that this gut-wrenching tyranny could stop in a heartbeat if America simply stopped supplying said blood-thirsty Zionists with billions of dollars worth of all kinds of creepy killing machines -- then those readers are either heartless, gullible or living under a rock.   
 
     This is my story and I'm sticking to it.  Sorry if it's not perfect.  But the pumpkin pie was.

      "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again even though it never works."  America has been repeating the same bloody mistakes in the Middle East for over 70 years now -- and none of them have worked.  Rest assured, however, that America isn't being run by a pack of simplistic crazies.  No no no.  There is a method to these leaders' madness.  "Keep those weapons factories running!  Night and day!  We're making whole bank vaults full of money!  Keep up that killing!"

     In 1953, Americans orchestrated a coup in Iran that led to decades of bloodshed which continues to this day -- and to trillions of dollars in weapons sales.

     In 1967, Zionists tried to sink the USS Liberty.  34 American sailors were murdered.  The result?  Prez Johnson sold the Zionists even more weapons.  Score!

     Then came the bloody eight-year Iran-Iraq war.  Well over a million casualties.  Remember that one?  Of course you don't.  But Lockheed and Boeing still do.  Yummers!

     9-11 was a weapons manufacturer's wet dream -- over two decades of blowing up Afghanistan and Iraq.  America's weapons lobby had found its best target yet.

     And don't forget Lebanon, Syria and Yemen.  Money in the bank.

     Somalia, Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Libya aren't exactly in the Middle East but they still count, right?  Muslims?  Turbans?  Blood?  Weapons sales?  Sure.

     But the crown jewel of America's Middle East folly has always been Palestine -- and still is to this day.  Well over 75 years of bloodshed (and weapons sales).  What's not to like!

PS:  "From the river to the sea" was originally a Zionist slogan.  But Raytheon and Northrop have made it their own.

PPS:  Who pays for all those horrendous American weapons of mass destruction that have systematically spread blood and guts all over the Middle East for the past seven decades?  No one.  "Just charge it to my credit card."
