Is there still a Free Speech Movement here in Berkeley? Maybe...
The other day I started to get really hungry for a chance to actually say
what is on my mind here in Berkeley -- where most people still wear face
masks, get boostered for what seems like the tenth time and are totally
convinced that any kind of debate is a bad thing. If I dare say anything
critical of our current draconian censorship or dismal lock-down
procedures, everyone here angrily accuses me of being a bad citizen -- or, even worse, of being a Republican!
So much for Mario Savio's famous Free Speech Movement here. "There's
a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you
so sick at heart, that you can't take part!" The FSM is dead in the water here in Berkeley these days. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xz7KLSOJaTE
So I e-mailed a handful of the few remaining non-fake Progressives still
left here and said, "Let's do lunch. Meet me at Cafe Leila on Friday.
Let the free speech flow!" A lively discussion ensued over burgers and
salads in the back garden of Leila's cafe.
First topic of discussion? How corrupt our Berkeley city government
has become. "Everyone who speaks during the City Council's public
comment segment hates Berkeley's so-called Safe Streets program. Safe
for whom? But despite intense push-back by so many residents, the
Council still is going ahead with this dangerous program. The local
Hopkins Street community is about to be devastated for instance. And
it's all about the money -- showered on them by the feds but only if
they obey. Our local government has sold out." Damn straight! But are
we even allowed to talk about that these days?
"You should consider moving to Nicaragua," said someone else. "I was
just there. Someone I traveled with got COV$D, took Ivermectin supplied
by a local doctor and got well the next day. Not only that, but
Nicaragua is just as nice as Costa Rica but far less expensive." But is she even allowed to talk about that these days?
Next we talked about journalist Whitney Webb who now lives in Chile.
All of her books are heavily censored here, especially her new one, One Nation Under Blackmail.
It comes in two volumes and is all about Jeffrey Epstein's sleazy
financial dealings as well as his history as a pimp to Gates, Clinton,
etc. Is Webb even allowed to talk about that?
Then someone arrived who knew a lot about the COV$D vaccines' total lack of efficacy. "No, I want to talk about the book that I'm
reading, Peter Hessler's River Town. It takes place
in China." We talked about that too. "Apparently America is planning
to have a war on China by 2025, started by some freaking balloon."
Hey, why not. A war on BRICS should make the Federal Reserve happy --
adding even more debt to their current lascivious 300-trillion-dollar Ponzi scheme.
I
myself am reading Celeste Ng's latest book, Our Missing Hearts, all about a future American world where we are basically living under a dictatorship. Never again is now. But are we even allowed to talk about that these days?
Next topic? Zen Buddhism, tribalism and religious freedom. "I can't go to my synagogue
any more because everyone there is vaccinated." Someone else brought up
Subud and Gurdjieff.
Hadn't heard those names since the 1960s. "Transhumanism will injure
our souls." Who in America even cares. If you can't buy a soul on
Amazon, then who needs it. But are we even allowed to talk about that these days?
"Let's talk about lawsuits. They are really accomplishing stuff,
stopping the repression, saving people's lives. There's got to be some
middle ground between the extremes of corporate take-overs and populist
impotence these days and America's court system seems to be that middle
way. It's not just a choice between dictatorial lock-down repression,
violent revolution, being a Muggle or believing that space aliens will
come to save us." But are we even allowed to talk about that these days?
So many interesting things are being discussed here right now, not just the latest cat video on TikTok. No one here is telling me, "Jane
you are too intense!" and demanding that I revert to small talk at a time when so
many millions of lives are at stake. Don't Americans ever hunger for
intellectual stimulation? For the actual truth? Apparently not.
"The New Normal has already taken over here in Berkeley. The Old
Normal is now viewed as a personality disorder." How quotable is
that! Then we went on to discuss America's corrupt new Thought Leaders. "And
what has gotten into our political leaders as well? Everyone from the
Clinton-Trump-Biden menage a trois to Berkeley's Mayor Jesse appears to be bought off." But are we even allowed to talk about that these days?
"Our gas company's smart meters give off dangerous electro-magnetic
fields. And smart water meters are coming too. Water in Marin County
is about to be privatized." Public-Private Partnerships have become code words for Fascism. Nazis woulda been so proud of Lockheed and
Pfizer. But are we even allowed to talk about that these days?
"And Naomi Wolff's whole career has been trashed by Twitter." Is she
now back on Twitter again? Who knows. "35 years of education and
experience tarnished completely by Twitter execs with nothing else to
do with their time. So many reputations have been ruined because knowledgeable people
told the truth. Scott Ritter, Vera Sherav, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, Del
Bigtree, Dr. Pierre Kory, Dr. Peter McCullough -- just to name a few.
Seymour Hersch, for crying out loud!"
My reputation hasn't been trashed. Too late for that! Plus who
would ever even consider getting an account on something called Twitter? "A Twit!" But are we even allowed to talk about that these days?
By then I had finished eating my big healthy salad. What's for dessert?
The 5G discussion came next. If you don't know about the dangers of 5G
by now, you might be hopeless. I'm not gonna help you here. Just keep
clutching that SmartPhone to your breast -- and don't ever talk about
5G, not even in the cancer ward.
Next topic? "Impossible Burgers." Oh yeah. Let's talk about that.
All those food-supply factories getting burned down. Bill Gates buying
up all that farmland. We're now spozed to eat bugs? 11,000 family
farms in Holland have been shut down. Even in the San Francisco
Bay Area, farms are being forced to shut down. But are we even allowed
to talk about that?
Then we started talking about people we knew personally who had died
after getting The Jab. I personally know five people. Someone else
said, "I know six people". Wow. That's a lot. "I know four people who
have heart issues caused by it." And someone else said, "I don't know
many people now, after COV$D. Everyone kind of stopped speaking to me
because I was un-jabbed."
And speaking of deaths, why
is Biden flirting with nuclear war -- and why is he forcing this stupid
Ukra$ne war down our throats with non-stop 24/7 propaganda about how
Putin is The Devil and that Zelensky is not the corrupt neo-Nazi
oligarch bastard that he actually is? And why is Biden bankrupting America with
all his atrocious warmongering? But are we even allowed to talk about
that these days?
Next, we chatted about the sudden up-tick in cancer during 2022. "What they call cancer
is just a result of your immune system breaking down -- and the spike
protein in the shots accelerates the human immune system's breakdown."
Which brought up various cures for various diseases that we are not
allowed to know about because these cures might cut into Big Pharma's
insanely high profit margin. Ivermectin, for instance. And chlorine
dioxide, which eliminates all kinds of pathogens from our bodies -- yet
is labeled "swimming pool cleaner" by Big Pharma. Not if you micro-dose
it. And, in the meantime, Remdesivir will kill ya. But are we even
allowed to talk about that these days?
Then someone else said, "I just got back from two weeks in Hawaii. I
truly needed a break from all the fear porn here in Berkeley." Me too!
Next came a discussion about chem-trails. "They are all over the
skies, especially in the Sierras and out over the ocean where nobody
sees them." At this point, I'd almost had enough of all this free speech here at Leila's. Time to go off to
Hawaii myself! "No, listen. They tell us about the climate change
catastrophe but not this part of what is causing it. Probably paid for
by the Pentagon budget's missing three trillion dollars."
Hmmm. I always wondered where that money went, assumed it just
flew off to the CIA. But if those Evil Globalist Bastards were actually
interested in preventing climate change and not just fascinated by global control,
they would put an end to war -- the number-one cause of climate change. But are we even allowed to talk about that these days?
After an hour or so of rational dialogue in Cafe Leila's sunny back
garden, people started to get up and leave, to go back to real life.
Hurray for rational dialogue! But back in the real world, people
in Berkeley will only continue to tell me, "Jane, you are too intense." But you gotta be
fairly intense these days if you wanna save the world -- and who
wouldn't want to do that?
