Tariffs are the same as sanctions: They don't work!

    Just a brief observation here:  What Trump doesn't understand is that tariffs are the same as sanctions -- and sanctions on Russia were a total disaster that made Russia so very much stronger.

Because we have no manufacturing base to fall back on, tariffs basically become sanctions on America as well.  Sigh.
