The Pentagon money pit: "Ammunition! Ammunition! Give us more more more!"
.JPG) "Let them eat cake!" said Marie Antoinette, the Austrian princess who
was married off to Louis XVI back in 1770.  I just visited the palace where
she was raised.  Wealth like you wouldn't believe.  But where did all that
wealth come from?  From the sweat and blood of the Hapsburg empire's peasants
of course -- but also from the Hapsburgs' various wars.  But war didn't make any money
for the Hapsburg peasants however.  "Sorry, not sorry."

And here in America today, war doesn't make money for you and me
either.  Here and now, you and I are slowly becoming the new peasant class.  Duh.  And war still makes
money for our modern American emperors too.  That's obvious to anyone who
has ever read a spreadsheet.  America allotted $727,000,000,000 to the Pentagon in 2022 alone.
Approximately 50% of the federal budget goes to building bombs and such.

The Pentagon gets all that money, right?  And we peasants don't.  But
does the Pentagon spend its wealth wisely, live within its budget and
not max out its credit card?  Hell no.  The Pentagon is basically a
money pit.
And then here comes Joe Biden to tell us that we have to
use cluster bombs on Ukra$ne.  Why?  Because we're run out of other
kinds of ammunition.  Say what!  All those trillions of $$$$ we've sent
to the Pentagon over the years -- and all we've got to show for it is
some stupid T-shirt that says, "Sorry, your money's all gone now.
Give us more".
Now America is defenseless and has no more freaking ammunition?

Where did all those trillions upon trillions of dollars go to?  Who knows.  Not me.  Not you.

And now the Pentagon is saying, "Sorry, Mom, but I just spent all my
allowance on stuff.  Give me more!"  That's like saying that the
dog ate the Pentagon's homework.

And yet Congress, the President and the Federal Re$serve will just keep
on giving the Pentagon more.  And more.  And more.  "Let them eat cake...."

PS:
In the meantime, the price of lamb chops at the supermarket just rose two more
dollars a pound last week.  So we peasants aren't gonna
be eating lamb chops any time soon either.  And my rent just went up too.
